Tanning For Vitamin D + A Sprained Ankle. During the winter we like to go tanning for vitamin D. Some people might be concerned for Laurie to be tanning while pregnant but we live in Washington State and there is not a lot of sun during the winter so instead of popping vitamin D pilsl we simply tan at a salon twice a week for about 10-12 minutes. Vitamin D is super important for a healthy immune system and pregnant women who are deficient in Vitamin D are more likely to have miscarriages.
We tried going for a run but Gabe sprained his ankle and is acting like a huge wussy with his crutches.
